How it connects
FourKites is a real-time supply chain visibility platform used by shippers and logistics providers to track freight across truck, rail, ocean, air and parcel, with yard and dock tools on top of the tracking data.
ATAHSKIA reads ocean container milestones from your FourKites account through its API and lines them up against each D&D invoice. The audit checks the 20 elements of 46 CFR § 541.6 and the § 541.7 issuance deadline, then compares the invoice's free time start and end dates and the specific dates charged against the milestones FourKites recorded.
Many FourKites customers also track the drayage leg. That matters for detention: when the dray carrier's pickup and empty return are tracked, you have time-stamped evidence for when the box actually left and came back, independent of the carrier's billing system.

What it recovers
Prove when the empty came back
The dray move into the empty depot is tracked to the minute, so detention billed for the following day is disputed with the time stamp attached.

Each charged date on the invoice is compared against the milestone timeline, and any day outside the chargeable window is listed in the packet.

Does ATAHSKIA write anything into FourKites?
No. The connection is read-only.
We only track some shipments in FourKites. Is that a problem?
No. Untracked containers fall back to other sources such as carrier EDI, terminal data or a container tracking API.
Is ATAHSKIA a FourKites partner?
No formal partnership is claimed. We use the API access your account provides.
