How it connects
Flexport is a freight forwarder and customs broker with its own software platform, where importers book, track and pay for ocean, air and trucking moves. For shippers who route freight through Flexport, the platform holds the shipment record, container list and milestone history for each move.
ATAHSKIA reads shipments, containers and milestone events from your Flexport account through the API access Flexport provides to its clients, and matches them to the D&D invoices you receive. When Flexport is acting as your NVOCC and passes through carrier or terminal charges, the audit checks the pass-through invoice and, where you can obtain it, the underlying carrier invoice against the 20 elements of 46 CFR § 541.6 and the timing rules of § 541.7.
This is useful for importers who use several forwarders. One audit standard and one scorecard cover Flexport moves alongside your other forwarders and direct carrier contracts, so you can compare dispute outcomes across the whole book.

What it recovers
Check pass-through charges
A pass-through demurrage invoice lists the container but omits the carrier's tariff rule. The audit flags the missing rate element and drafts a relief request.
Compare forwarders on one scorecard
Invoice compliance and dispute response time for Flexport moves sit next to your other forwarders and direct carrier contracts.
Match milestones to billed days
Pickup and return milestones from the shipment record are compared against the specific dates charged on each invoice.
Flexport integration FAQ
Is this a Flexport integration endorsed by Flexport?
No. ATAHSKIA uses the API access Flexport offers its clients. We do not claim a formal partnership.
Can we dispute charges that Flexport billed us?
Yes. When an NVOCC is the billing party, its invoice must meet the same Part 541 requirements. The dispute packet is addressed to whichever party issued the invoice.
What if the empty return milestone is missing?
We use your trucker's records, terminal data or a container tracking API to fill it, and show the source on the evidence timeline.
Don't let your 30-day dispute window expire.
Send your recent D&D invoices for a free audit. We report what is recoverable within 48 hours.
