How it connects

Vizion provides a container tracking API that collects events from carrier EDI, AIS and port and terminal sources and maps them to a standardized set of milestones. It is built for teams that want tracking data inside their own TMS, ERP or analytics rather than in another dashboard.

ATAHSKIA subscribes to Vizion milestones for the containers on your D&D invoices, stores each event with its source, and builds the timeline the audit tests against: discharge, availability, outgate, rail moves where tracked, and empty return. Every invoice is then checked against the 20 elements of 46 CFR § 541.6 and the § 541.7 issuance deadline, with the specific dates charged compared to the timeline.

Vizion's standardized milestones save a lot of mapping work when you deal with many carriers, since each carrier names its events differently. The audit can apply one rule set to every carrier's invoice.

Setup

  1. Issue an API key

Generate an API key in your Vizion account.

  2. Connect in ATAHSKIA

Add the key on the Integrations page and run the test against a known container.

  3. Set subscription rules

Choose whether to track every container on incoming invoices or only those on specific carriers or ports.

  4. Backfill history

Request historic events for the last 12 months of invoiced containers where Vizion's archive covers them.

What it recovers

One rule set across carriers

Standardized milestones mean the same free time test applies whether the invoice came from one carrier or another.

Per diem after return

Detention billed past the standardized empty return milestone is disputed with the raw carrier event attached as evidence.

IPI storage

Rail arrival milestones show when an inland point container actually reached the ramp, so storage billed before then can be challenged.

Vizion integration FAQ

Do we need our own Vizion account?

Yes, ATAHSKIA uses your API key and your tracking volume.

Can we see the raw carrier event behind a milestone?

Yes. The evidence timeline keeps the raw event and its source next to the standardized milestone.

Is ATAHSKIA a Vizion partner?

No formal partnership is claimed. We connect with the API access your account provides.
