How it connects

Most D&D invoices still arrive by email, as PDFs or links from carrier and terminal billing systems. For companies on Microsoft 365, that usually means a shared mailbox in Exchange Online that someone reads when they have time.

ATAHSKIA connects to the shared mailbox you choose through Microsoft Graph, picks up messages from carrier and terminal senders, extracts the invoice, and starts the 20 element check of 46 CFR § 541.6 the same day. The invoice date is captured on arrival, which starts tracking your § 541.8 window. With send permission, dispute packets go out from the same mailbox, so replies come back to your team and stay in your records.

Capturing the invoice on arrival also captures evidence: the date the email was received, the sender and the original PDF are preserved with the audit, which helps when an invoice's stated issue date and its actual delivery date differ.

Data flows

  • Invoice emails

    Reads

Messages and PDF attachments from carrier, terminal and forwarder billing addresses.

  • Dispute emails

    Writes

Relief requests with attached packets, sent from the shared mailbox when you enable sending.

  • Replies

    Reads

Billing party responses threaded back to the open dispute so the 30-day resolution deadline can be tracked.

Setup

  1. Choose a shared mailbox

Use the mailbox carriers already bill to, such as a dnd or ap mailbox, or create a new one and update your billing contacts.

  2. Grant consent

A Microsoft 365 administrator grants consent for the ATAHSKIA app, scoped to that mailbox using an application access policy.

  3. Allow-list senders

List the carrier, terminal and forwarder billing domains to capture. Other mail is ignored.

  4. Enable sending

Decide whether disputes are sent automatically after approval or saved as drafts for a person to send.

What it recovers

Never miss the dispute window

Invoices are audited the day they arrive, so relief requests go out well inside the § 541.8 window instead of when someone gets to the mailbox.

Prove when the invoice arrived

The received time stamp is preserved, which helps test § 541.7 timing when an invoice is dated earlier than it was sent.

Track the carrier's response

Replies thread back to the dispute and the billing party's 30-day resolution deadline is tracked automatically.

Microsoft Outlook integration FAQ

Can ATAHSKIA read everyone's email?

No. Access is limited to the mailbox you choose through an application access policy, and only allow-listed senders are processed.

Do you support Gmail?

Yes, through a separate Google Workspace connection.

Will disputes look like they come from ATAHSKIA?

No. They are sent from your own mailbox, signed by your team.
